FCT NIGERIA 2013
The project was carried out in 2013, and included the installation of control and security systems at the entrances and exits of a compound. The new systems replaced the previous gate system, which couldn’t cope efficiently with intensive operating conditions and couldn’t handle critical situations. This project set up two exit lanes and two entry lanes, with one entry lane acting as a VIP lane allowing fast entry for an authorized vehicle, while the other lane is designated for inspection of unauthorized vehicles, and included installation of a vehicle inspection scanner and an awning.
Security systems in this project include:
- Pneumatic bollards with K-4 anti-ram resistance
- Scanner for inspection of vehicles, manufactured by the STI company
- Adjustable awning for vehicle inspection area
- Light-duty bar barriers of model MAYA-B
- Traffic lights
- Photoelectric detector
- Fixed bollards
- Command boards and varied control systems
- Compressors, etc.
The new security system features automatic control that is effective and reliable, and capable of providing an immediate response to any emergency situation.
